Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will make its debut at the Taipei Game Show 2025. A large photo booth will be set up in the M820 Nintendo Zone, immersing players in the game’s world.
To celebrate Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma’s first appearance at the event, Marvelous has launched an official Chinese fan page. Follow the page during the event to redeem exclusive limited-edition gifts on-site. Besides there will also be a special stage event featuring the Rune Factory series director, who will share the latest updates about the game. Introduction to Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
Experience the fantasy world adventure and life-simulation RPG in the latest installment of the Rune Factory series! While previous titles in the Rune Factory series were set in Western lands, this new chapter unfolds in the Eastern nation of Azuma, bringing an all-new adventure to life.
◆Story Setting and the Protagonists
The Celestial Collapse—a calamity caused by a colossal object crashing into the eastern lands known as Azuma. The devastating impact sent fragments of terrain to the skies above and the seas below. With the earth shattered, the power provided by the runes ceased to flow. The Gods of nature vanished soon after. Mountains crumbled and fields withered, leaving the people with nothing…not even hope.
The protagonists, who have lost their memory, take on the role of an Earth Dancer, burdened with the mission to save the world through the power of dance. In order to protect the residents of Azuma, and restore the fading nature and Gods, they embark on an adventurous journey, accompanied by their companion , Woolby.
Players can choose one of the main characters (Subaru and Kaguya) at the beginning of the game. Woolby, the trusty partner, serves as a guide throughout the adventure, assisting the player in various situations.
◆ Rebuild Village and the Power of Dance
The story begins in a village that has been gradually abandoned and left barren by the calamity. Players will undertake the task of rebuilding the village through village revival.
You can cultivate fields, grow crops, channel water to build waterwheels, construct houses, and freely place buildings or decorations in designated areas.
As the village flourishes through your efforts, it becomes more vibrant, which in turn supports your daily life and adventures. Build your very own village and drive its revival!
Additionally, players wield the unique powers of an Earth Dancer, one of which is to unlock the hidden powers of weapons through Dance. For example, dancing with a drum helps with crop growth, dancing with an umbrella irrigates crops, or dancing with a sword deals damage to monsters in battle. Dance plays a pivotal role in both adventures and daily life.
◆Classic Adventure, Daily Life, and Romance
In daily life, you can enjoy activities like fishing and cooking, savoring every moment.
Through your adventures and daily life, you'll meet a variety of characters. By building relationships with the eligible candidates, you can invite them to join you on adventures or go on dates. Deepen the bond, and you may even have the chance to get married and start a family.
