Hokko Life is a cute and laid-back social simulation game, developed independently by Wonderscope, a one-man studio founded by Swedish game developer Robert Tatnell.
The player will travel by train to a remote rural town called Hokko to start a new life there. You will take over the old, dusty studio and use the materials and tools you have collected to complete all the home designs for your new friends in town!
If you can think of it, there's nothing you can't do! In Hokko Life, players can manipulate raw materials in any way they like and combine them in creative ways to create unique furniture and objects. Collect flowers, mix different paints and use these materials to design wallpaper, flooring, and even clothing! Whether it's an urban industrial furniture collection or a floral wallpaper, you can use everything in the town's studio to create your own town with unlimited creativity.

Material Processing
Go to the forest to cut down wood, or to the abandoned mines to mine and dig for resources. Take the raw materials you collect back to the studio and process them into materials for your designs.
Design and Paint
Use the work table to create your own furniture, combine different shapes and materials in the simple but powerful editor, and even pick up a brush to add color to everything! Players can design their own wallpaper, flooring, and even clothes for themselves and all the town's residents to wear.
Building The Town and Decorating It
With the help of construction workers, players can begin to expand the town and choose the location of different buildings to welcome the new residents who have moved to Hokko. Once the construction is complete, players can decorate the interior and exterior of the house, choosing their favorite design and placing furniture freely.
Fishing and Bug hunting
Hokko Village has several fishing spots, and each of the fish has its own unique habits, so you'll have to be careful when fishing and reeling in your line. There are also a variety of insects flying around the village, so keep an eye on your surroundings, and explore the bush for unique creatures that might be hiding in there! Find ways to catch the town's fish and insects and build your own collection!
