See a piece of furniture you like, but don't have enough money to buy it? Then just steal it! In Hokko, you can enter all the villagers’ houses without asking for permission! All the furniture and decorations in the house, regardless of type or size, can be put in your backpack without any penalty. The owner of the house can only watch as you take your furniture and belongings for yourself, without any complaints. Whether you see something that looks good, you can steal it from someone else's home.
Damage to Public Property
Don't want to go all the way to the forest to cut down a few pieces of wood? Why not just cut down the town's trees? The town of Hokko is full of trees and there are rocks to dig for stone, so you'll be able to destroy them in order to collect the materials without any legal liability. You can become the town's wrecking king and use public resources to build your own mansion. However, the town's stone cannot be repeatedly quarried, so if you want to get a lot of different kinds of ore in a short period of time, it is better to go to the mines.
A Life in Disguise
In Hokko, you will meet many superficially friendly and cute animal friends. Just when you think you'll be able to let your guard down and enjoy a relaxed life in the town, you'll discover that they all love to be sarcastic! The residents will always talk to you with their usual smiles and then make sarcastic comments. You'll be called upon to do everything from finding a lost object to building a bridge. They are all usually smiling, but in fact, some of them are mean to you. But then, don't blame the players for stealing from the villagers and causing trouble in the town.
The above is just the tip of the iceberg. With the possibility of designing homes and even interiors for the villagers, it should not be difficult to imagine the many weird ways in which houses can be transformed. It's up to you to decide whether you want to work hard for the development of Hokko or become the town's mischievous mischief-maker!
