DREDGE is a single-player fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent. The game puts the player into the shoes of a fisherman who happens upon a mysterious town. Allowed to stay on the condition that they provide sustenance to their new neighbours, the fisherman's everyday activities seem fairly normal at first. There are also loads of treasures to be found along the way, making the relaxing experience all the more worthwhile to the fisherman.
Unfortunately, not all that glitters is gold. The townspeople, the mayor, in particular, become increasingly standoffish, refusing to answer questions about the region and themselves whenever the fisherman tries to dig deeper. Even more off-putting is the fact that he begins catching more than just cod and mackerel, with other horrible creatures also lurking in the waters at night. All the while showcasing that not all is as it seems in the sleepy fishing village.

Unravel a Mystery: Captain your fishing trawler across a collection of remote islands, each with its own inhabitants to meet, wildlife to discover, and stories to unearth.
Dredge the Depths: Scour the sea for hidden treasures and complete quests to gain access to strange new abilities. Catch more than 125 deep sea denizens and pack them into your cargo hold for maximum profit!
Study Your Craft: Research special equipment and upgrade your boat’s capabilities to gain access to rare fish and valuable deep-sea curios. Who knows what you’ll find below the waves?
Fish to Survive: Sell your discoveries to the locals to learn more about each area, and upgrade your boat to reach even more secluded locations.
Fight the Unfathomable: Strengthen your mind and use your abilities to survive trips out on the water after dark.
