"The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication" is set within the haunting halls of Wen Hua University, renowned for its eerie ghost tales across Taiwan, the university's film club hatches a plan to recruit new members. A daring group of students orchestrates the 'Carnival of Horror ' within the infamously haunted 'Da Ren' building. Intent on resurrecting a decades-old campus mystery for their planned viral horror film, they plunge into the depths of the night to shoot. At the same time, a reporter arrives on campus after receiving an anonymous tip-off in hopes of resolving a mysterious case of a missing person from the past. The storylines of the students and the report intertwine as players explore for clues and hints. Will the truth be unveiled? Or is there a bigger conspiracy hidden? The game will put players' ability to survive until the end to test.
The game inherits the diversified horror elements from its predecessor, and campus legends are integrated to form a storyline that interfolds the stories of multiple ghosts. The artistic designs focus on the original legends of the ghosts, and the characters of the ghosts are portrayed by the puzzle stages and encounters with them. Players will get to know how the ghosts differ and what they were obsessed about in their lifetime, enhancing the atmosphere set by campus horrors and folklore. In addition, there are more abundant ghosts than the game's predecessor, bringing players a more intense experience!
【Run and hide: observe and make good use of the environment to hide from ghosts!】
Apart from hiding inside cabinets, players can also observe their surroundings to run and hide in covered spaces to dodge attacks, or make use of what they find around them to divert the attention of the ghost so they have a chance to escape. There will be a total of 6 types of ghosts that are after the player, so various strategies are needed!
【Solve the puzzles: churn your bain to uncover the truth behind the mysteries!r】
Crack the puzzles, unearth the truth behind each mysterious event, find out why the building is haunted, and discover the final truth. Some of the puzzles are accompanied by paranormal phenomena, the newly added item Anima Lantern might offer some help!
【Explore your way: investigate around the campus to collect items related to each task!】
Explore the surroundings to acquire key items and information. Look for the clues hidden here and there to solve what's hidden behind each mysterious campus legend. Players can check the items they have acquired in Collection!
【New item: Anima Lantern】
An item introduced in this new title. Apart from revealing hidden traps and clues, it can also defend players against attacks from ghosts when paranormal phenomena occur. Unlike in the previous work where players can only hide and run, players have a higher chance to survive.

The developing team of the game retains one of the highlights of the previous work – easter eggs! Be it humorous puns or meme-related jokes, players will discover as they play the game.
