GSE represents a full lineup of 4 games from Softstar Entertainment! The Bridge Curse 2／Voice Love on Air／Xuan-Yuan Sword Scheduled for release in 2024

[2024年3月21日, 香港]Game Source Entertainment (GSE) is very excited to announce plans to release four games developed by Softstar Entertainment within 2024. This includes the classic RPG "Xuan-Yuan Sword VII" for Nintendo Switch™ and "Xuan-Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament" for PlayStation®5 version. Additionally, GSE is going to publish Softstar Entertainment's first BL romantic simulation game "Voice Love on Air" and the sequel to the horror film adaptation "The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication

Embark on the journey to slay demons and uncover the truth!

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an ARPG presented in a third-person perspective. The plot is rooted in Chinese history and mythology. Players take on the role of Taishi Zhao, a calm and reliable swordsman who was involved in a tragic fate. To protect his beloved family, Taishi Zhao starts a journey in this chaotic realm to find the truth.

 

In the last of Western Han Dynasty, the powerful prime minister of China superseded his emperor and build a new dynasty called Xin. In this year, words appeared on the boulders, stone cattles appeared in fields, and ancient tombs cracked, tremendous signs appeared, told a time of peace and prosperity will come. A peculiar bamboo slip in the crypt of Marquis of Liu was delivered to Court Astrologer's hand.

Unexpectedly, Taishi Mansion was badly damaged by a bizarre fire that night, and all his family was killed in the fire and the bamboo slip disappeared.

Ten years later, the prosperity mentioned in the prophecy has never come. A decade of war and famine, the people were miserable, and the chaos had spread among the country.

In ancient times long ago, in order to find his beloved missing daughter, the divine Jade Emperor opened the gates of heaven, allowing a direct connection between heaven and earth. This was done, so that worthy mortals could appeal to the Jade Emperor and obtain divine powers, to aid in the search of his missing daughter. However, this gift was exploited and taken advantage of, causing chaos in the mortal realm. The Nine Li Tribe became a cult that worshipped demons and practiced in the occult, divorcing themselves from the businesses of the mortal realm.

 

Forces of evil suddenly arose, inciting wars across the continent, condemning people into a life of fears and sufferings.

Emperor Zhuanxu feared the demon Chiyou would once again ravage the mortal realm. Limited by his own capabilities, he sought the help of the Queen of Huaxu, who once assisted Xuanyuan the Yellow Emperor in warding off the Otherworld with the Bell of Donghuang. Both Fuxi and Nuwa—the children of the Queen of Huaxu—also supported Emperor Zhuanxu in convincing the Queen, for they too could not bear to watch people suffer any longer. In the end, the gates to heaven were finally sealed with the powers of the Divine Artifacts combined.

Since then, no mortals were able to ascend, nor were gods able to descend at will. This incident was later recorded down in history as “Juedi Tiantong.”

This latest entry broke new grounds in comparison with previous titles in the series, including: the new lighting system that better establishes moods, creating various atmospheric scenes; as well as facial animation and lip-sync systems, MVN motion capture system to elevate the quality standard of all characters in every aspect. These new technologies not only improve visuals but also game immersion, enabling the players to fully comprehend the behaviors and feelings of the protagonists.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is part two of The Bridge Curse series. It's a first-person survival horror game where the player controls four characters during Wen Hua University's "Carnival of Horror." What lurks around the corner is foreboding dread, a few laughs, and of course... pure fear.

The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication takes place at Wen Hua University, one of the ten universities in Taiwan known for its unsettling ghost stories. To attract new members to the film club, a group of students has decided to hold the Carnival of Horror in the Da Ren building, which abounds with rumors of ghost sightings. They plan on re-enacting a bizarre case that happened on campus decades ago and turning it into a horror movie, but as they rush to film in the depths of night, strange things start to happen...At the same time, a reporter arrives on campus after receiving an eerie letter in hopes of resolving a mysterious missing persons case from the past. After piecing together a series of clues, the mystery unravels and a massive conspiracy covered in darkness is on the verge of emerging.

Voice Love on Air is a BL dating sim with elements of studio management and interactions with voice actors! Follow Aki, a newbie voice director who has to complete the recordings for several BL dramas, and interact with the charming voice actors.

The protagonist Aki has the ability to hear a person's true feelings from their voice to uncover truths and lies.He started a recording studio of his own but ran into some business difficulties. To ease his financial situation, he agreed to help a friend in the sound recording for BL dramas.
